Billy Joe Jones, 59, of Bailey passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. His funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. A Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Pastor Daniel Parker will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Billy is survived by his wife, Melissa Toanone Jones of the home; his daughter, Christina Wilks and husband, Mike of Missouri; his son, Robert Jones of Pennsylvania; his step-daughter, Alesha Toanone of Pennsylvania; his step-son, James "Phillip" Haywood of the home, and his brother, Randy Lee Jones and wife, Tina of Black Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Iva Mae and Leroy Jones and his brother, Donnie Jones.
