JAMES LEE HICKS

James Lee Hicks, 60, of Spring Hope, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. An open visitation will be held Saturday, August 29 from 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30 at 2 p.m. from Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Castalia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Thomas will officiate.

She is survived by his wife Hargie Hicks; daughter, Tonya Annette Bellamy (James) of Rocky Mount; step-daughter, Anethia Harris of Raleigh; son, Lee Spivey, Jr. (Cynthia) of Rocky Mount; step-sons, James Otis Davis, Jr. of the home, Curtis Earl Davis (Dionne) of Bunn, and Terry Davis (Cassandra) of Bunn; sisters, Edith Smith of Spring Hope, Elaine Hicks of Louisburg, and Mattie Hicks of Rocky Mount; brothers, William Edward Hicks of Louisburg, Levi Hicks of Louisburg, and Joe Louis Hicks of Henderson; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
