Bettie Lynch Hedgepeth, 68, of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015. Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville from 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday, August 21. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16 at 1 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Keith Hedgepeth (Kelly) of Bawie, Md., and Derrick D. Hedgepeth, Sr. (Magnolia) of Santa Ana, Ca.; step-mother, Gloria Evans; sisters, Linda McCarn (Herschal) of Raleigh, Phyllis Davis (Darvin) of Glen Dale, Md., Dorothy Whitaker of Merriam, Ks; Verlene Preston (Brady) of Fayetteville; step-sister, Vicki Davis (Ronald); brothers, Calvin R. Lynch (Cleo) of Brinkleyville, Timothy Lynch (Yvette) of Fayetteville, and Ronald D. Lynch of Raleigh; stepbrother, Jessomy Evans (Ashley); two grandchildren.
