Ethel Gantt, 81, of Rocky Mount, passed away on July 15, 2015.

Ethel was preceded in death by her older sister: Irene Mozell; two brothers: Willis, Jr. and William Lloyd Richardson; an uncle and an aunt: Rev. Chester and Rebecca Frazier, and one son, Carlton Gantt.

She married Raymond H. Gantt, Sr.

She is survived by her children: Raymond (Eunice) Gantt, Jr., Carolyn Gantt, Jeanine (William) Little, and Felicia (Keith) Gamble; a daughter-in-law: Amanda Gantt; four brothers: John (Geneva) Richardson, Roosevelt Richardson, James (Erma) Richardson, and Robert Richardson; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services were held Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Red Budd Holy Church in Rocky Mount. The Interment was at Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount,
