Amy Leigh Ellis, age 42, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. Born on June 14, 1973, she was the daughter of Bobby Ray Ellis and Nancy Williams Ellis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Ellis Noble and Sean Noble, her nieces, Reagan Taylor Noble and Harper Olivia Noble, all of Durham, and her beloved feline companion, Ebony. In addition, she is survived by many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church, 200 South Church Street, Rocky Mount, with Reverend Dennis Darville officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N. Grace Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Please specify that the funds are to be used to purchase books for the children's room.
