MARY ELLEN "SKIPPER" FENNER PARKER

Mary Ellen "Skipper" Fenner Parker, age 98, died on Friday, April 17, 2015. She was born on June 16, 1916 in Charleston, SC to the late Oliver James Bond, Jr. and Ellen Sinkler Bond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian Baker Fenner, her second husband, John LeRoy Parker; and a son, William E. Fenner, III.
She is survived by her son, Julian Baker Fenner, Jr. of Rocky Mount; her two daughters, Anna Rives and her husband, Jeff, of Chapel Hill and Ellen Holt and her husband, Bob, of Center Cross, VA; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Fenner of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; three great- children.
A service was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in "Skipper's" name can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 153 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
