George Earl Brown, 91, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. Earl was born in Nash County to the late Willie Benjamin and Anna Cooper Brown. He was also predeceased by his wife, Shirley Hayes Brown; son, David Earl Brown; and sister, Etta Brown Jones.
Earl is survived by his two grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Nelms; brother Harold Brown; one great-granddaughter.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations in Nashville, followed by burial at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.
Flowers will be appreciated, or donations in his memory may be made to the Patriot Guard or Wounded Warrior Project.
