Donnie E. Mitchener, age 52 of Wendell, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon. Burial, Pleasant Grove Annex Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Mitchener; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Mitchener of Middlesex; children, Joann Holder of Selma, Julia Marie Ricks (Randolph) of Smithfield, Mary M. Deyonks (Eddie) of Kenly, Jimmie Atkinson (Joann) of Wendell, Elbert Lee Atkinson (LaTonya) of Smithfield and Connell Atkinson of Raleigh; sisters, Donna Marie Jones (Donald) of Johnston County, Cynthia Neal of Wendell and Sandra Mitchener of Middlesex; brother, Iris Mitchener of Raleigh.
