William Lee Proctor, 80, passed away Thursday March 26, 2015. He was born in Edgecombe County on October 30, 1934 to the late Leslie Lee Proctor and Lessie Mae Proctor Proctor. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Laura Carol Rackley Proctor and a son, Danny Keith Proctor.
He is survived by his sons, William Randall Proctor (Teresa) of Newport, NC, and Larry Scott Proctor (Diana) of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann P. Rackley of Rocky Mount and Debra P. Henry (Clint) of Dortches.
A funeral service was held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Ingold officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
