AGNES “MARIE” MOSS

Agnes “Marie” Moss, 72, passed away, Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born February 21, 1942 in Nash County to the late Austin and Claudia Barefoot Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her husband James Riley Moss, and sisters, Susie Frazier, Faye Proctor and Joyce Proctor.
Survivors include her three sons, James Moss, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Thomas Moss and wife Sandra and Davey Moss; three sisters, Jean Butler of Elm City, Nancy and Pat Proctor, both of Rocky Mount, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service were held on Monday, January 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Smith officiating.  Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
