Warner Lloyd Thrower, age 80, a Rocky Mount native passed away on December 13, 2014. He was the son of William Alfred Thrower and May Denson Thrower of Rocky Mount.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Jill; son, Warner Lloyd Thrower, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Wheaton, MD; daughters, Joan T. Hunt and husband, Phillip of Sophia, NC; Kim Thrower-Stevenson and husband, Michael of Raleigh; 3 grandchildren;  brother, Dr. Robert Thrower and wife, Doris of Fuquay Varina/
A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 301 South Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Music Fund, 301 South Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC or to Friends of Hospice of Nash General Hospital, Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
