BENJAMIN KILGO GARDNER

Benjamin Kilgo Gardner, Jr., 75, passed away, Friday November 28, 2014. He was born July 10, 1939 in Franklin County to the late Benjamin K. Sr. and Beulah Griffin Gardner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Gardner Perry.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dreama Bratton Gardner; daughters, Wanda Gardner Riddel (Jeff) of Cary, Charlene Reams, Pat Joyner, Karen McKinney, Lynne Bryant (Bobby) Dina Leonard (Spencer) and Ashley Lawrence (Adam); brothers, John Edward Gardner, Sr. of Castalia, George Wheless Gardner, Sr. (Margaret) of Clayton; sisters, Ann Gardner Edwards (Malcolm) of Greenwood, SC., Lois Gardner Eaves (Theodore) of Henderson and Evelyn Gardner Steinwedel (Norbert) of Cornelius, NC.; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, December 2, 2014   with Pastor Gene Jackson in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
