FONNIE THALBERT “DOOTSIE” HARRIS, JR

Fonnie Thalbert “Dootsie” Harris, Jr., 85, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014.
He was born in Franklin County, November 17, 1928 to the late Fonnie Thalbert Harris, Sr. and Ada Simms Harris. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Brown Harris, three brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Pullen and husband, Mitch; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton with Rev. David Averette officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3131 RDU Center Drive, Morrisville, NC  27560 or to Franklinton Baptist Church, 102 W. Mason Street, Franklinton, NC  27525.
