Judy Ivey Batts, 71, of Rocky Mount, passed away on September 20, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Jim (James Ray Batts) of the home and three grandchildren; brother, B C Ivey (Judy Gail) of Wilmington and sisters, Ellen Milling of Raleigh and Anna Reynolds (Doug) of Greensboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Seretha Ivey.
 A service to celebrate her life was held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Leon Russell Chapel at Wesleyan College. 
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD  20852 or to the family.
