WILLIS EARL FISHER

Willis Earl Fisher, age 89, passed away   Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Born in Nash County on June 15, 1925, he was the son of the late Jerry Willis Fisher and Mattie Harper Fisher. Earl was also predeceased by one brother, Clem Fisher.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Booth Fisher. He is also survived by his son: Robert Earl Fisher and his wife Brenda of Rutherford College; daughters Judy Winfree and  husband Bobby of Red Oak,  and Martha Hyde and her husband Charlie of Red Oak; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Flossie Winstead and one brother, John Ira Fisher and his wife, Patsy.
A graveside service to remember Earl was held  Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Red Oak Cemetery with Pastor William Futrell and Pastor David Joyner officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Red Oak United Methodist Church or a charity of one’s choice.
