Charles William Johnson “Butch”, 61, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
Butch was born June 10, 1953 in Edgecombe County to the late William R. and Margaret Brown Johnson.  Along with his parents, Butch is preceded in death by his sister Katie Ellis.
He is survived by  his wife Becky Wood Johnson; one son, Charles Samuel Johnson and wife Pamela; two brothers, Tommy Johnson and Terry Johnson; two sisters, Betty Pierce and Tammy Edmondson.
A funeral service was held Friday, August 8, 2014 at Christian Fellowship Church  with Rev. Daniel Parker officiating.  Burial  followd at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.  Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, Nashville.
