Marjorie Elizabeth Bailey Edwards, age 64, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014. Born in Nash County on March 8, 1950, she is the daughter of the late James Harold Bailey and Nina Ruth Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwards and her beloved daughter, Tammy Edwards.
She is survived by three daughters; Robin Staton and her husband Gregg, of Wilson, Tina Edwards and husband Daniel, of Austin, TX and Angela Deans and husband Tony, of Elm City; four sisters, three brothers, and five  grandchildren.
A service was held Monday, August 11, 2014  at Bethany Baptist Church,  Rocky Mount, with the Rev. George Bridgers officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the family to defray funeral expenses would be preferred.
