TONY ALLEN PERRY

Tony Allen Perry, 74, passed away July 29, 2014. Tony was born August 19, 1939 in Nash County to the late Jesse Willard Perry and Dorothy Rachel Pridgen. Along with his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Blackwell Perry, two brothers Dallas Ray Perry and Ulysses “Dink” Perry, and sister Ann Perry.

He is survived by two step-sons, Mike Merrick of Georgia and John Merrick of Alaska; one step-daughter, Cindy Merrick of Georgia; one brother, Chris Perry of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Barbara Barnes of Rocky Mount, Evelyn Davis of Louisiana, and Betty Andrews of Rocky Mount; six step-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held  Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Bible Missionary Baptist Church  with Rev. David Barnes officiating.    A graveside service was held  Saturday, August 2, 2014  in College Park, Georgia at Forest Lawn Garden.
