VIRGINIA LOUISE JOYNER

Virginia Louise Joyner, 78, passed away on August 1, 2014. She was born November 28, 1935 in Anson County to the late Iliff and Nora Alford.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Rosa W. Phillips and her brother Billy Alford.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Luther Alton “Bud” Joyner and her daughter, Bonnie Sue Joyner.  Other survivors include her brother Bobby Alford (Aileen); sisters, Muriel Bennett (Sheron), Mildred Shelton, Brenda Boykin, and Wanda Alford.
A service was held Monday, August 4, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Nale officiating.   A private burial was held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Flowers are accepted or donations to the family for funeral expenses.
Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations in Nashville.
