Katherine Camp passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014.   Born in 1929 to Haskell and Lizzie Humphries in Shelby N.C., Katherine was the eldest of ten children. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Camp; her husband, Boyd Camp; brothers, Blaine Humphries, Wendell Humphries and Roger Humphries.
Katherine is survived by her son, Larry Camp and wife Lynne; two grandsons; one great grandson; three great granddaughters; siblings, Doris Poston (Texas), Ann Henson (S.C.), Joyce Smith (S.C.), Judy Scott (Kentucky), Dwight Humphries (N.C.) and Doug Humphries (S.C.).
A funeral service will be hel at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Englewood Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cloer officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
