JAMES “JIMMY” EARL GOLD

James “Jimmy” Earl Gold, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014.  He was born in Baltimore, MD July 26, 1941. He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Gold and brother, James “Mac” Gold.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Ann Gold; son, Jamie Gold; daughter, Lisa Gold Atkins and husband Michael; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
