Marcelene Tharrington, 75, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014. She was born July 20, 1938 in Franklin County to the late Thomas and Julia Moore Stallings.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Zollie Tharrington, one son, Robert Earl Duncan, one daughter, Cynthia Pendergrass and husband Monie, one brother, Ralph Stallings, three sisters; Helen Pittman,  Joyce Boykin and Mary Baker, two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Sunday, June 1, 2014 at  at Church of God Prophecy in Castalia with Rev. Billy Henry officiating.
