Thelma Bergendahl Lundy, 98, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. Thelma was born to the late Oscar E. and Cora C. Bergendahl on April 16, 1916 in Roanoke County, Va. She was also preceded by her husband, Claude V. “Bill” Lundy.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Lundy and wife Bonnie and Mike Lundy; brother, Mick Bergendahl of Erwin, TN; five grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ministers Discretionary Fund of First Presbyterian Church 153 N. Church St. Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
