Peggy Darlene Baker-Wheeless, 53, passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born May 10, 1960 in Nash County to the late Jimmy Baker Sr. and Inez Joyner Baker.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Wheeless, son, Steven Sherrod and wife Dusty, several step-children, mother-in-law, Mary Richardson, brother, Jimmy Baker Jr. and wife Ann, sister, Kathy Pittman and husband Danny and several grandchildren.
A memorial service was held April 25, 2014  at Family Worship Center on Redman Road with Rev. Gerald Parker officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Steven Sherrod @ 3751 S. Old Carriage Rd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
