ROCKY MOUNT - Estelle Bowden Edmondson, 95, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. She was born in Wayne County, on August, 7, 1910, to the late Estelle Dawson and B.J. Bowden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Spencer Staton Edmondson; sisters Lola Bowden Brogden, Noma Bowden; brother B.J. Bowden, Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Edmondson Mamo, of Rocky Mount, a son Spencer Staton Jr. Edmondson and wife, Linda of Rocky Mount, along with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Pineview Cemetery, on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church Street, NC 27804.
