Kathleen T. Batts, age 83 passed away April 6, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chester Batts, mother and father Nannie and Caswell Turner, brother Noah Turner, sisters: Mildred Davis, Blanche Edwards and Orien Johnson.
She is survived by her son Gary and wife Jennifer Batts of Rocky Mount, sister Joyce Bass of Rocky Mount, sister-in-law Jeanntte B. Bloodworth of Rocky Mount, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held April 8, 2014 at the Union Missionary Baptist Church. The interment followed in the Mill Branch Cemetery.
