Hildred “Nanny” Elizabeth Joyner, 86, of Bailey passed away on November 29, 2013.  A funeral service was held December 2, 2013 at  Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside service will be held December 3, 2013 in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Charles Thompson  officiated.
She is survived by  daughters, Brenda Joyner Deans of Bailey, Linda Joyner, Sherry Goff and husband, Rev. Wayne of Fremont and Elaine Joyner Perry and husband, Ronnie of Bailey; her sons, “J.C.” Joyner of Bailey and “Doug” Joyner of Bailey; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Sue Temple of Virginia and her brothers, Tom Joyner of Indiana and Harris Joyner of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Randolph Joyner and her parents, James Harris Joyner and Sadie Godwin Joyner.
