David Charles Drum, age 62, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. Born in Gastonia on June 18, 1951, he was the son of the late David Alexander Drum and Pauline Price Drum. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lanny D. Drum.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frankie Rowe Drum; daughters, Anna Hilliard Drum of Cedar Park, TX and Georgia Drum Bell and husband Ryan of Greenville; and sisters, Marie Drum Abernathy and husband Benjamin, and Cathy Drum Bradshaw, both of Dallas.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Kerry Peeler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UNC Dept. of Neurosciences, 170 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill NC 27599.
