MINNIE ROSE WINSTEAD TURNER

Minnie Rose Winstead Turner, age 89, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Born in Halifax County on January 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edgar Rose and Ella Fannie Lee Langley Rose. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton L. Turner and sister, Margaret Edwards.
She is survived by her son, Dwight Winstead of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Robert L. Rose and wife Pat of Sharpsburg and James Rose and wife Jennell of Anchorage, AK; and sister, Mabel Proctor of Rocky Mount.
A graveside service to remember Minnie will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November  27, 2013 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville with Rev. Terry Huffines officiating.
