ALICE OUTLAW SHEARIN

Alice Outlaw Shearin, 67, passed away  Sunday, October 27, 2013. She was born August 21, 1946, to the late Lewis Howard Wood and Ethel Viola Taylor Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Ray Wood; two sisters Joann Rackley and Loretta Groover.
She is survived by her  husband, Samuel Gardner Shearin of the home; daughter, Melissa Upchurch Walker (Randy) of Wilson; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Wood (Mary) of Columbus, Ga.; sister, Shelby Jean Shearin (Thurlo) of Spring Hope.
A service was held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at   Cornerstone Funeral Home & Cremations in Nashville with Larry Shearin officiating.
