Mary June Diven Donegan passed away on October 24, 2013 at the age of 89.  She was born in Washington D.C. on June 13, 1924 to Charles Albert Diven and Mary Eliza Morrison Diven. She was preceded in death by her  husband of fifty years Gorman Stafford Donegan and her older sister Martha Diven Johnson.
She is survived by her sister, Louise Diven, her sons, Gorman Stafford Donegan, Robert Diven Donegan, her daughter, Nancy Donegan French, her son in law, Allen French; five  grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
 The funeral service was held October 28,  at Irvington Baptist Church in Irvington, Virginia with Pastor John Farmer officiating. Burial  followed at Christ Church in Weems, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Irvington Baptist Church in Irvington, Virginia.
