Sally James Bass, 82, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Kindred Care in Rocky Mount.
Sally was born July 30, 1931 and was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Prince James and Mary Lois McRae James, and by a brother, Marshall Prince James, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ollie Adron Bass, Jr.; a son, The Rev. Dr. John Marshall Crowe, and his wife, Donna Starling Crowe, of Goldsboro; three step-children: Ollie Bass III of Quepos, Costa Rica, Anna Bass Rauh and husband, Nick, of Lafayette, Indiana, and Ashley Bass and wife, Cathy, of Nashville; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 am - 12 noon Wednesday, October 9 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. |
