DONALD “JOE” HERBERT RADFORD
Donald “Joe” Herbert Radford, 77, passed away, Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He was born May 24, 1936 in Nash County to the late, Martin and Alter Griffin Radford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Mike Radford and grandson, Bryan Radford, five brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Skinner Radford, two sons; Durwood Radford and his wife, Sandra, and Thomas Radford and his wife, Angela, one daughter, Angie Denton and her husband Tim, daughter-in-law, Teresa Radford Pernell, brother, Ben Radford, sister, Frances Hendricks; eight grandchildren;  three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held  Friday, August 30, 2013  in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Mozingo officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to North Rocky Mount Church of God @ 2413 Goldrock Road, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
