JOHN JASPER WALKER, JR.
John Jasper Walker, Jr., 91, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013. He was born May 9, 1922 in Nash County to the late John J. and Hettie Rose Walker.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Carter Walker, daughter, Barbara Walker Ferrell and brother, Clayton Walker.

He is survived by three sons; Carlton Walker (Lou), Wayne Walker (Georgiana) and Kenneth Walker (Joan), one daughter, Joyce Walker Finn (Larry), two brothers; Jim Walker (Lula) and Ray Walker (Kay), fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2p.m. in the Chapel with the Pastor Allen Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery on Taylor Store Road of Nashville.
