FRANCES BAKER JOYNER
SANDY CROSS –– Frances Baker Joyner, 79, of Sandy Cross passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Nash General Hospital.  She was born in Nash County on April 23, 1934 to Letha Viverette Baker and Sam Calvin Baker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Futrell Baker, and sisters, Dorothy Davis and Sybil Baker.

Frances is survived by her husband of 57 years, Pete Joyner and son, Sid Joyner.  She is also survived by sisters Beatrice Eggers and Vivian Cockrell.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.

Flowers are welcome or contributions can be made to Frances’ church, Sandy Cross United Methodist, 3725 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville, NC  27856.
