Edna Warren Williams, age 85, passed away on Friday, July 05, 2013 at Autumn Care. Born in Sampson County on January 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George Clifton Warren and Gertie West Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edgar Ellis Williams Jr. and her son, Ellis Craig Williams.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wayne Williams; daughter, Jane Davenport and husband Russell; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Harper and husband Harold and Bonnie Arnold and husband Dick; and brother, G.C. Warren and wife Sally Ray.
A service to remember Edna was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Raynor officiating. Entombment took place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
