Joseph “Joey” Andrew Edgerton, Sr., 37, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was born March 25, 1976.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman Jr. and Myrtie Atkins, Joseph and Barbara Cox.       

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Vanesse Cox Edgerton; his wife Amy Lancaster Edgerton, one son, Joseph Andrew Edgerton, Jr., two daughters, Amberly Rae Sanders and Alexis Grey Edgerton, one brother, Larry Wayne Edgerton, Jr.

A funeral service was held Saturday, June 15, 2013   in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Gurganus    officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
