ALTON “HOOVER” EARL DANIEL
Alton “Hoover” Earl Daniel passed away on May 17, 2013. He was born October 1, 1930 in Warren County to the late Jessie and Beulah Roberts Daniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dalton “Bill” Daniel and his sister, Juanita Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Inez Powell Daniel; his three daughters, Melanie Moore and husband, Thomas, Terry Cutri and husband, Mike, and Lou Ann Miller and husband, George all of Rocky Mount; 9 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service was held May 20, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Dwain Pyeatt and Rev. Stephen Webb officiating. Burial   followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
