World Thinking Day
The Rocky Mount/Nash Girl Scouts celebrated their World Thinking Day on Feb. 23, 2013 at the National Guard Armory in Nashville. Over 100 girls and adults attended this event. Each participating Girl Scout troop had a country to research and display interesting facts about their country. They also had to make a dish from that country to share with every one that attended. World Thinking Day is every Feb. 22 and is to honor sister Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from all over the world by taking time to give thanks for their international friendship. Girl Scouts USA is part of a global community-one of nearly 150 countries that are members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGS).
