Rachel Bridgers Vick, 65, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born August 26, 1946 in Wilson County to the late Millard Eugene and Mary Lee Whitley Bridgers. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Vick.
She is survived by her four sisters; Bettie Faye Leonard of Rock Mount, Josephine Bridgers of Elm City, Gail Thompson of Virginia Beach, Mary Ann Horton and husband John of Elm City, two brothers; Robert Bridgers and wife Betty of Black Creek, George Bridgers and wife Cathy of Sharpsburg; four step-children; Mike and Keith Vick, Brenda Vick Coley and Diane Vick, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Committal Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Edgecombe Memorial Park of Tarboro.
