SHELLEY COMMODORE SETTLEMYRE
ROCKY MOUNT - Shelley Commodore Settlemyre, Jr., age 77, passed away  on July 13, 2012 in Rocky Mount. He was born December 19, 1934 in Catawba County.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pearl Hogan May Settlemyre; a son, Steven and his wife, Sarah; two grandchildren; sister, Rita Christie and a brother, Everette Settlemyre of Hickory as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Shelley, Sr., and Della Settlemyre; and a sister, Marjorie Crafton.

A service of remembrance will be held at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC on July 21, 2012 at 11:00am. Burial will be in the church’s memorial garden. The Reverend George Greer will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Andrew’s Church Capital Campaign.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount.
