RONALD LINDBURG CARTER
Ronald Lindburg Carter, 72, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012. He was born June 30, 1939 in Nash County. He was the son of the late Raymond Clyde and Grace Collie Carter. Ronald was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Elbert and Albert Carter, brothers, Robert Lee Carter, Sr. and Raymond Perry Carter, Sr., sisters, Mary Sue C. Manning and Irene C. Wadsworth.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Nelms Carter, daughter; Sherry C. Brown and husband Herbert of Nashville, son; Ronald Blake Carter and wife Vickie of Whitakers (Salem Community) one granddaughter; Sarah Elizabeth Carter; two step-grandsons; sister; Pattie Hardy of Nashville, brother; Luther R. Carter and wife Patricia of Arkansas.

A funeral service was held  Saturday May 5, 2012  in the Chapel of Living Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church located at 1090 West Mount Drive Rocky Mount with the Rev. Linwood Conner and Rev. Danny Harris officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.
