JAMES ROBERT WATSON
James Robert Watson, age 67, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Born in Nash County on June 06, 1944, he was the son of the late John Robert Watson and Estelle Daughtridge Watson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Jessup Watson and brother, Thomas Arnold Watson.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Kimberly Jessup of Thousand Oaks CA; brothers, Donald Ray Watson and wife Brenda, and John Alvin Watson and wife Lois, both of Rocky Mount; sisters, Patricia Proctor and husband Marcus, Nellie Vernon, both of Rocky Mount, and Carolyn Terrell of Leeds AL; sister-in-law, Janice Watson of Virginia Beach VA; several nieces and nephews.

A service was held  Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the Chapel Mausoleum of Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount.
