JAMES BENNETT BISSETTE
James Bennett Bissette, 82, passed away Wednesday April 4, 2012. He was born January 9, 1930 in Nash County. He was the son of the late Frank Alphys and Myrtie Patterson Bissette. J.B. was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ray Bissette, two brothers, A.J. and Bobby Bissette and one great-granddaughter, Carolyn Nicole Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Emma Louise Aycock Bissette, his daughter, Carolyn Bissette Carson, three brothers, Bo, Frank Jr. and Jack Bissette, two sisters, Estelle Webb and Ruby Joyner, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren

A funeral service  was held in the chapel at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with the Rev. Butch Gordon of Samaria Baptist Church and Pastor Jonathan Rushing of Real Life Church of Concord officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
