JAMES “RUDY” BATCHELOR
James “Rudy” Batchelor, 66, passed away Tuesday February 21, 2012. He was born April 6, 1945 in Nash County. Rudy was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Cooper Batchelor.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Mullikin Batchelor, two sons; Glen Cooper Batchelor of Wilmington, and James David Batchelor of North Attleboro, MA.; one brother, William Ray Batchelor of Wilmington; four grandchildren.

A funeral Service was held Friday February 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Brown officiating. Entombment followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nashville United Methodist Church Building Fund at 209 E. Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856 or The American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park # 10 Raleigh NC 27615.
