James Elbert Watson, age 86 passed away on February 26, 2012 at Nash General Hospital, Rocky Mount.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nonnie Williford Watson, his mother and father Carrie Williams and Charlie Elbert Watson, two brothers Vernon and Benny Watson, two sisters Hilda Watson and Myra Pridgen.
He is survived by his daughter Wanda Watson Lamm and husband Tony of Rocky Mount, son Larry Watson and wife June of Gibsonville; two grandchildren; two sisters Delarene Davis of Wilmington and Laura Perry of Clifton, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday February 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road with the interment following in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Military Rites.
