DOROTHY ARMSTRONG FISHER
Dorothy Armstrong Fisher, 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 01, 2012. She was born April 15, 1929 in Nash County, daughter of the late Charlie Lawrence Armstrong, Sr. and Lola Winfree Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E. Lee Fisher, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Lee Fisher, Jr. and wife Peggy of Salisbury; daughter, Mary and husband James Keen of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; three sisters and one brother, Rachel A. Robinson, Patricia A. Luper (Roger), Charlie L. Armstrong, Jr. (Mavis) of Salem, Charlene A. Price (Clint) of Florence, SC; and several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. Gerry Blood officiating.

Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount.
