ARTHUR RAY HAMM, SR.
Arthur Ray Hamm, Sr., 79, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012.  Born in Wilson County on February 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph Walter and Ludie Langston Hamm. 

He is survived by his wife, Frances Jones Hamm of Nashville; sons, Ricky Hamm and wife Debra of Sharpsburg, Joey Hamm of Nashville; brother, Jake Hamm of Wilmington; sister, Belle Sanderfer of King,  and five grandchildren.

Mr. Hamm was preceded in death by brothers, Earl and Jimmy Hamm and Ruffus Lansten; sister, Mildred Murray, and a granddaughter, Amanda Dawn Hamm.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Bass officiating.  Burial  followed at the Moore Family Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
