Brenda Gail Garrett Long, 61, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011.
Brenda was born October 22, 1950 in Burlington to the late Robert and Bernice Carden Garrett, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Long and a brother, Mack Garrett.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Simmons (Jeffrey) of Rocky Mount; brothers Gary and Robert Garrett, Jr. of Snow Camp, sister: Sue Shaw of Lima, OH; two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
