Joyce Moore Arrington, age 77, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011. Born in Nash County on January 05, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Moore and Lucy Weaver Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Arrington in 1992 and daughter, Debra Flowers.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Arrington of the home; son, Allan Arrington and wife Candy of Kenly; five grandchildren. Joyce will also be remembered by her sister, Peggy Hill of Rocky Mount; brother, J.T. Moore and wife Mavis of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Joann English and husband Mack of Nashville; and brothers-in-law, Donnie Arrington and wife Yvonne of Wilson and Wallace Arrington and wife Ruth of South Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Millbranch Cemetery with Elder Harold Pittman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice, P.O. Box 8109, Rocky Mount NC 27804 or a Primitive Baptist Church of your choice.
